some of the scenes needed work
This movie was interesting to say the least. The first part of the movie starts a little on the slow part. The characters were firmly established but it took a little too long. Some of the scenes definitely could have been cut out and the film still would have made sense. Some of the later scenes were ok, but moved just a little too quick to fit right. The ending is less than endearing or satisfactory. Other than that, character portrayal was excellent and they were established very well. Bob Hope and Lucille Ball definitely make this movie memorable - they are really the only characters you can remember after you watch it. Ball and Hope are the only true guiding forces in the film, probably one of the only reasons you can still watch it today. All in all, a good and decent movie, but some of the scenes needed work to make it truly interesting and exciting to watch
